I will be fundraising for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation charity. They are a collection of groups, in Scotland, Wales, Canada, the USA, Argentina, Australia, and Russia, dedicated to protecting dolphins and whales worldwide. They aim to stop captivity, stop whaling, help clean the oceans, create marine protected areas, and prevent deaths via nets. Whales and dolphins have their own cultures, and are vital to the oceanic ecosystems (which humans rely on), so we should do everything we can to protect them. 

The Fair Earth Foundation CIO, a registered UK charity, runs a special challenge, every month, to climb El Teide, the third highest volcano in the world. This is a gruelling, arduous challenge but the view at night of the stars and the breaking dawn over the magnificent crater make it consistently the single best experience of our volunteers in Tenerife over the last thirty years - thousands have taken up the challenge!!
