From the 30th April to the 2nd May I will be doing the Coast to Coast bike ride from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. This is a 140 mile cycle through the countryside of Northern England which myself and 9 others are completing over 3 days. 

Day 1 is from Whitehaven - Penrith

Day 2 is from Penrith - Alston 

The Final Day is From Alston - Tynemouth. 

I will also add we are doing this with no vehicle support and yes I’m doing it on my girly bike with a basket! 

Unfortunately 2 years running in the April I lost people I loved to suicide one of them being my amazing cousin, Nico Hasnip. Nico unfortunately didn’t get the help he needed as I don’t believe there’s enough help out there for people who are suffering with mental health issues. This is why I have chosen to raise money for the Mind Charity, with the aim of raising more awareness and money for people to get the help they need. 

Michael Ferrigon, who was my manager for 11 years, unfortunately didn’t get the help he needed either. Michael was planning a Coast to Coast ride with colleagues from work when that dreaded COVID hit so he never got to do it. This is why we thought it would be a good idea to do the Coast to Coast in his honour. (May regret this later 😅)

£20 could run a online peer support community for an hour.

£40 could help their Infoline answer calls, providing someone with vital support and information. 

£50 could help them campaign for better mental health services from the Government.

£100 could pay the cost of one of their Infoline or Legal line advisors for the whole day.
