Story
Whether it’s running, walking or playing football, I’m taking on 90 miles in October for Mind — and every mile is for someone who is struggling and needs support.
Mental health is something I’ve personally struggled with, and it’s also something that has affected people very close to me and my family. I know how difficult it can be to struggle in silence, and how important it is to have somewhere to turn when things feel overwhelming. That’s why this challenge means so much to me.
Right now, Mind’s phone lines are the busiest they’ve ever been. In the UK, 1 in 4 of us will face a mental health problem this year, yet too many still wait in silence. There is still so much more that needs to be done to support people with their mental health, make sure people have someone to turn to, and help break the stigma around talking about how we feel.
By raising money for Mind, I hope I can play a small part in helping them continue to support people, raise awareness and make sure no one has to face their mental health struggles alone.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, means a lot to me and will help support a cause that is genuinely so close to my heart.
Thank you 💙
