Story
Chloe's class teacher has agreed to SNIP off at least 30cms of Chloe's hair in assembly in front of the children of Pirbright School... Hopefully this will raise awareness of the Little Princess Trust and what they do.
Chloe B writes...
"...I always wanted to grow my hair long enough to be able to sit on it. Now I can sit on it, I have decided to cut it and give it to somebody who really needs it.
I am giving it to a charity called the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have sadly lost their hair due to the treatment they are having, usually for cancer.
It will take 7 children or adults hair to make one single wig.
The wigs are free for the children and if one doesn't match then they will buy one.
I would like to raise some money to send with my plaits of hair, so please make a donation here..."
Mummy & Daddy write...
" We love Chloe's long hair, but are really proud of her for choosing to donate her lovely hair to charity. This is a fabulous organisation that offers a little comfort to families during really tough times... please dig deep and support Chloe's appeal for donations to send with the hair"

The real hair wigs we provide are free to the children we help. If we supply a wig made from hair donated by people like you, our kind supporters, then this wig costs the charity absolutely nothing or possibly we pay a very small amount for it. If a suitable donated-hair wig cannot be sourced, then we buy in the most appropriate wig for the boy or girl in question, as close as possible to their original hair. The cost to the charity to purchase one wig is on average between £350-£500. Absolutely any amount of fundraising that you can generate towards this cost will help us to continue to provide wigs to the boys and girls that need them.
