Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself and Billy are doing this walk to raise aware of endometriosis.
We’re walking to raise awareness and funds for endometriosis—a condition that affects 1 in 10 women, yet is still widely misunderstood.
Endometriosis happens when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it, causing chronic pain, inflammation, fatigue, and in many cases fertility problems. This isn’t just “bad periods.” For many people, it affects daily life, work, relationships, and mental health.
Despite how common it is, it can take 7 to 10 years to get a diagnosis. That’s years of people being dismissed or told their pain is normal.
Personally, I’ve struggled with symptoms for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until I was 19 that endometriosis was even suggested as a possibility.
I then spent five years on an NHS waiting list for diagnostic surgery, with no clear end in sight.
Thankfully, with the support of my family and friends, I was able to access private surgery in 2025.
Even now, I continue to struggle daily and I’m constantly researching and learning about what treatments and remedies work best for me.
By supporting this walk, you’re helping raise awareness, fund vital research, and push for earlier diagnosis and better treatment. Most importantly, you’re helping people feel heard and believed.
Every step we take today makes a difference. Thank you for walking, donating, and standing with those affected by endometriosis.
