Story
In April 2024, I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for SRUK.
Before my Dad's diagnosis I had never heard of Scleroderma or Raynaud's but now I've seen first hand the impact these conditions have on people's daily lives due to painful and sometimes debilitating symptoms. Scleroderma is rare, with 19,000 people affected in the UK. There is currently no cure but there are therapies and medical treatments which can reduce the impact of the disease and slow its progression.
SRUK is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Scleroderma and Raynaud's so I hope to raise some awareness of the great work they do as well as some money to help them do it! Please visit their website to find out more: https://www.sruk.co.uk/
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
