The Miracles charity began in the early 1990's when my uncle, Mathew Procter, and Theo Ellert met in Bosnia and committed themselves to help those people affected by the terrible conflict and horrific ethnic cleansing.
Their projects include medical assistance and evacuation for landmine victims who are taken to the USA for prosthesis and to Spain for specialist burns treatment. They also created a multinational youth centre to bring together the youth of all ethnic backgrounds to learn to live together in peace and harmony.
Their two most recent projects are the Miracles Centre for prosthesis and care in Mostar and the Miracles Roma Housing project in Zenica.
Miracles in Bosnia is building a future worth living for and bringing hope as well as humanitarian aid to the poorest of the poor in a country that is still threatened by landmines.
