Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I'm running the 2019 Great North Run in support of Parkinson's UK.

In 2017 my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease. Having experienced at first hand the effect of the development of the disease on my father & seen how it affects him & our family, I am keen to raise money so that people with Parkinsons Disease receive the support they need.

Despite the fact I hate running, I am hoping that my 13 miles will bring us one step closer to finding the cure for Parkinsons Disease.

Please support me in raising money for Parkinsons UK so that the worthy and needed work of this charity can continue.
