Story

Hello, my name is Chloe and on 13th September 2026, I’ll be taking on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk - walking 21 miles around Edinburgh to raise money for The Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund 🦋

I first heard about EBMF in 2024 and was so inspired by the incredible sense of community, love and support surrounding Eilidh’s story. Seeing the way Eilidh’s family have turned heartbreak into something that helps so many other families is truly remarkable.

In 2025, I was lucky enough to help at the Bad Girls Reunion fundraiser for the charity, and that experience encouraged me to take on my own fundraising challenge this year.

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of visiting Eilidh’s House and seeing first-hand the difference it makes. I was so touched by how welcoming and peaceful it felt. The house gives families affected by cancer a place to escape the pressures of hospital visits and difficult days - somewhere they can rest, reconnect and create lasting memories together in the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside.

Although the house is now complete, fundraising remains essential to ensure families can continue to benefit from this special place for many years to come. With ongoing running costs of around £80,000 a year, continued support will help keep the house warm, welcoming, and fully equipped for every family who needs it.

Any donation would mean so much - thank you for supporting such an important cause 🦋
