Story

I decided at the start of the Pandemic to put my time to good use by Fundraising for Friends of Anchor which is a charity close to my heart.  (Fundraising is my absolute passion after all, and has been since I was 5 years old!) You can read about that here. :)

2.6 Cycle Challenge!

I started off by doing my own version of the 2.6 challenge which involved me cycling 2.6 miles for 26 days! This was great fun!

Fortnightly Online Quiz

I then started a fortnightly Facebook Live Quiz- it is going strong! Everyone is welcome to join and there is always a prize to be won! To find out when the next quiz is head on over to my facebook page @chlojackonhermac.

Adult and Child Photo Competition

From the 26th of June Entries open for my FOA Photo competition! For more details on how to enter email chlojackonhermac@outlook.com. The winner will be announced on world photo day which is the 19th of August! Competition Closing date is on the 16th of August at Midnight! There is an adult and child competition entry!

Friends of Anchor 2021 Photo Competition Calendar

I have designed a 2021 Friends of Anchor Calendar featuring photos that were entered in the FOA photo competition which I hosted earlier in the year! This is a great Christmas present or first foot gift! They Cost: £10 each (this also includes your delivery). Payment can be made via PayPal. Please make your payment to the following email address: chloejackson14@live.co.uk. I will only cover the cost of the calendar the remaining money and delivery the remaining money will go towards the charity. The more calendars ordered the less the cost will be meaning the more the charity will receive!

Live Online Bottle Lamp making workshop & pre-recored video tutorials.

I have put together 2 well loved hobbies of mine; fundraising and crafts to bring you this fun event to raise funds for Friends of Anchor! A charity close to my heart ❤️ At the end of the event you will walk away with a beautiful standard size hand crafted bottle lamp, made by you! ☺️ You will be required to source all of your own materials and pay a £5 donation for Friends of Anchor via my charity just giving page to secure your place on the event!

A few people have requested a Video Tutorial of the Lamp making workshop as they are unable to attend the live session. I have honoured this and I am now opening this up to anyone else who would have liked to have attend the event but are unable to attend.
What you will receive: the online video tutorial on how to make a bottle and a kit list with recommendations on where you can order your materials.

"Friends of ANCHOR has served oncology and haematology patients throughout the North-east of Scotland, including Orkney and Shetland, since the ANCHOR Unit opened in 1997." They charity provides vital care, wellbeing, research and equipment for cancer patients across the North East of Scotland.

The Impact Friends of Anchor has had on my family

For those of you who don't know the wellbeing staff at Friends of Anchor made the last few weeks of my Grandmother's life on the Anchor Unit more comfortable. The wellbeing staff spent time with my Grandma on her ward by doing her hair and nails, and simply took some time to have a cuppa and keep her company during a traumatic time. It is hard to believe that this was 4 years ago, it genuinely does not feel that long ago. 😔 This charity truly are amazing! I have more than enough time to show my thanks and support the cause!

Any support is gratefully appreciated- whether its £2.60 or £26!

I hope you will join me in supporting Friends of Anchor during these unprecedented times. Thank you! x
