Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you may remember my baby blue racing bike which used ot get me around in the days before I passed my driving test......well.....I dug it out of mum and dad's garage, paid a nice man to fix it up and surprisingly, it works and gets me to my weekly exercise class 6 miles away!

Back in my hey day, I did London to Brighton on it and now, its time to take it on another test - the Bedfordshire Cycletta!!  Its only  58km(eek!), not 50 odd miles like Brighton, but I guess that was 25 years ago........

I'd love to raise money in memory of Alex Sharp, who died earlier this year from neuroblastoma, a rare blood cancer, at the tender age of 5.  His mum came to me for pregnancy yoga so Alex has always had a special place in my heart.  Over the last 2 and a half years, Alex's family have turned his treatment process into an amazing journey of dedication and sheer love. To read the most inspiring and touching blog Alex's dad has written, have a look at alexsharpsblog.wordpress.com

Its brilliantly written, informative and utterly compelling but I must admit, the blog has made a huge dent in my tissue budget - be warned!

Whatever funds I can raise to help NSOC will be a way for me to show my admiration for the Sharp family and their gorgeous boy, Alex.  Please dig deep.
