I'm raising money by cycling 80 miles from Nottingham to Skegness on June 27th, 2026, with some friends in the memory of two really important people in my life who unfortunately were taken by Prostate cancer.

Firstly, for my cousin Chris Bowley. He was the brother that I never had, the cool cousin who broke all the rules way ahead of everyone. He loved a beer, loved his sport (particularly Nottingham Forest), loved dancing, wore the coolest clothes and really loved his family.

Secondly, for my work colleague Tony Checkley. He interviewed and ultimately took a chance on me when others might not have. He was a true gent of a man, and I learned a lot of valuable lessons not just in business but also in life from him.

Both guys were the best of the best in my eyes. Raising money won't bring them back, but I hope that it can maybe go some way to preventing this horrible cancer from happening so often in the future.
