Thank you for visiting my page...
In 2014 my stepdad had a heart attack and through research and new treatments backed by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) he was able to recover and share more time with us.
It was 9 years ago I did the longest bike ride of my life with a good friend, we took part in the London to Brighton on-road night ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) who have helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.
Sadly a year ago my stepdad's heart stop beating, and I have been preoccupied doing my bit with my family over the past year, amongst getting on with day to day life, like many others do.
A couple of great guys (Jem and Mike) mentioned the London to Brighton off-road ride that they were doing/considering, and this idea has recently helped lift me back into the saddle to get back in shape and ride for a good cause, at the right time - thanks guys!
It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
