This year, once again, I am running the BUPA Great Manchester Run out of love and respect for the members of my family and the friends who have died from cancer, and in solidarity with all those who are currently fighting the fight.

This year I'm running for a different, but equally worthy, cancer charity - The Love Hope Strength Foundation (LHS). LHS promote innovative, music related outreach and awareness programmes for leukemia and cancer sufferers, survivors and their families. They also raise awareness and recruit potential donors to the organ and bone marrow registers. I've helped out at a few of their donor drives and they are a great bunch of people.
