Working From Home Virtual Cycle Commute · 6 April 2020

An emergency appeal for East Anglia's Children's Hospices in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since 24th March I have been working from home which when trying to run a domiciliary care company is proving challenging. My office is on the same complex as EACH's Norfolk office and just down the road from their new hospice "The Nook". My daily commute from home is 12 miles each way = 24 miles a day.

During the current lockdown, EACH's donations have dropped dramatically, please see this recent article;

https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/health/children-s-hospice-launches-fundraiser-after-drop-in-donations-1-6587518

My aim is to cycle my equivalent weekly commute whilst working from using a static bike trainer, in other words 24 miles a day for five days and what seemed like a good idea at the time, 120 miles in a week. I plan to attempt this over the working week w/c 6th April.

I will post daily updates on my progress (or lack of!)

Please give what you can to support this fantastic charity to do what they do best.

Thank you.
