Chris Brown was a remarkable and inspirational pathologist who passed away in 2012. He trained many generations of Pathologists at bartshealth, based mainly at The Royal London Hospital. 

To remember his immense legacy of training we are launching the Chris Brown Award, which will be announced every year, at our Pathology Christmas Quiz. This will be decided by the trainees themselves: and awarded to the trainee who has supported them most in education and training. We hope to make the award of a pathology book of the winners choice, and to make this a fixed part of the Department of Cellular pathologys's year. 

We hope this is a way that all those in debt to Chris, for their training, can remember him.
