Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A couple of years ago my sister Kelly, a young mother of two boys, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and given only months to live. She received chemotherapy in an attempt to slow down the tumour's progress. To everyone's amazement  the tumour (named Bertie) did not just stop growing but shrank drastically to become almost indistinguishable. She was very lucky. Most people do not survive this level of tumour!

This year I was proud to see her married and picking up the pieces of her life so I am spending a year raising money for research into this horrible disease that robs young families without warning.

I will add a series of events on here and ask for support but please don't wait for them - help us fight this now by making a small donation.
