Level Up for Framework
Campaign by Framework (RCN 1060941)
Level Up is a sponsored fundraising event supporting Frameworks campaign to end digital exclusion among young people. Host a virtual tournament, build for a better future, do a speed run, smash a record or stage a marathon.

Story

Having previously joined us on the Big Sleep-in, Kyle is very interested in helping the homeless.

Like most people his age, he struggles to comprehend that there are many people who not only don't have a roof over their heads but who also don't have access to the luxuries he has such as a mobile phone, Xbox and wi-fi.

But he is a good boy with a great heart and always wants to do what he can to help those worse off than himself, so his mum and I have come up with his very own Level Up for Framework challenge throughout the month of April.

Kyle loves his Xbox - particularly Fortnite and FIFA - but like most kids his age does overdo it somewhat! So our challenge, which we hope everyone we know will support, is for him to have fun playing throughout the month but to do so responsibly.

As a family we will get his sponsorship pot underway with a donation, and Kyle's end of the bargain is that he can game regularly in April to raise as much money as possible to help end digital exclusion, but to come off the Xbox when he is asked to (and without backchat!) - and to spend wholesome time with his family, go for walks and do his homework too!

You can do this Kyle! #LU4F

The Level Up challenge for Framework aims to support more than 1000 homeless young people gain access to wi-fi and digital technology.

Access to IT during the pandemic has become an absolute necessity. Online learning, online shopping, applying for housing, setting up a bank account, claiming benefits or applying for a job and YES relaxing and chilling out playing their favourite game on their chosen console.
