When I opened my door one evening 17 years ago my life changed forever.  At lightening speed, a  little black and white kitten ran in and every time  I tried to shoo her back out, she would run back in  before I could even get the door shut. A call round all the neighbours proved fruitless so I let her stay the night and the next day phoned Cats Protection. No one had reported the little rascal missing but they had had another kitten bought in from our road with the exact same colouring. So there began my ownership of two sister kittens I named Charlie and Eddie and what a journey the three of us have had together, They have seen me get married,  move house and welcomed my two sons into the family. They have bought me all manner of presents in the form of birds, mice and even once a coi carp! They have slept by my side during tough times and been purring contently next  to me during the happy times. Cats are amazing creatures independent but loyal. Funny yet perceptive, every home needs a cat.
