Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s UK ensures no-one has to face Parkinson’s alone.

As a charity Parkinson’s UK:

· Campaign to change attitudes and demand better services

· Bring people with Parkinson’s, carers and families together via their network of local groups,

· Provide a free confidential helpline

· Specialist nurses, supporters and staff provide information and training on every aspect of Parkinson’s.

As the UK’s Parkinson’s support and research charity they are leading the work to find a cure, and are closer than ever.

Their work is totally dependent on donations so please dig deep and support a great charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
