The Ovarian Cancer Walk | Run · 6 October 2019 to 12 October 2019 ·
In March 2018, my wife Susanna was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. 5 months later it would claim her life. I am walking 10km for Target Ovarian Cancer with our little dog, Kobe, to raise money to help give others the chance to survive this terrible disease.
11 women in the UK die every day from ovarian cancer, and ovarian cancer faces chronic underfunding compared with other cancers. Enough is enough. It's time to TAKE OVAR. Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival. £7 could enable a GP to update their knowledge of ovarian cancer and best practice for early diagnosis.£17 could fund our nurse-led Support Line for women with ovarian cancer for one hour.£50 could help 50 people to learn about the symptoms of ovarian cancer by receiving our symptoms leaflet.£250 could fund a day of lifesaving research through one of our studies.Raise awareness. Fund research. Save lives.
