Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year I completed the London to Amsterdam ride, for Prostate Cancer UK after a friend, Scott Vessey, sadly passed away due to the disease. I had known Scott for many years and had been running a junior football team with him for a few seasons. He was such a fantastic character to be around, a great family man, and is sorely missed.

Scott, like myself was a big Wednesday fan , and again I will be riding representing Wednesday with other riders representing the 72 Football League Clubs, including some ex-pro's.

The event last year was hard work, both in the training and the doing, but I was motivated by the enormous sense of camaraderie amongst the 150+ riders and organisers, all there for one reason - to raise funds to help fund research and fight the disease.

Last year I raised over £2300 and would love to beat that, but have started later this year, so my target is lower to reflect that. Please give generously.
