Lions of The British Isles have been supporting, encouraging and rewarding our young people for the past 49 years.

These young people give their time and skills freely to develop and run a wide variety of projects. 

Each year young people from across The British Isles are identified and supported in a programme where they meet other like minded people and develop friendships that will last a lifetime. 

The programme culminates with a National competition with the winner receiving a £1,000 bursary to use on their project and a second award called The Ship Shape Award. This is a life changing opportunity to be part of the crew of the only Tall Sailing Ship designed and built for people of all abilities.
