Born Too Soon is dedicated to enhancing the care provided at Kingston Hospital's Neonatal Unit for premature and unwell babies and their families. With your help, we can provide crucial equipment that makes a big difference in their early development and supports families through challenging times.

Story

As you may well be aware our beautiful baby daughter, Annabel, was born at 33weeks and 5 days weighing just 2lbs 6oz.  In the early weeks of her life she was looked after at the Kingston Hospital Neonatal Unit.

In what was a difficult and unsettling time it was clear to see that Annabel was in the best place possible and the level of care she received was beyond anything we could have imagined.  The individuals who looked after Annabel were each exceptional at what they did, providing her with round the clock care whilst also finding time to ensure we knew exactly what was going on at all times and we will never be able to thank them enough.

After 3 weeks in the unit Annabel was discharged to home where she has been spending lots of time bonding with her big brother!  I decided to try and do something to show our appreciation for all that was done for us and so I am aiming to raise some funds in order to support the unit and the team as best I can.
