Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In June 2018, I was diagnosed with a primary brain tumour. This was removed July 2018, followed by both radiotherapy and chemotherapy between October 2018 and April 2019.
In May 2019, regrowth of the tumour was noted, and subsequently operated on in June. Throughout the last month I have had further radiotherapy alongside a clinical trial. Throughout all of the operations and treatment I have continued trying to live as normal life as possible, maintaining running and working (albeit at a slower pace). Culminating in me running the Great North Run in September.
The doctors think that the physical exercise I maintained throughout this period helped with minimise side effects of the treatments.
