Thomas (7) and Martha (5) will be running 2k over 3 weeks to smash their 5k challenge. This will take place during their Sunday morning Park Runs. They are taking part in this sponsorship event to raise funds for Project Harar, who are a charity working in the most remote and disadvantaged areas of Ethiopia, to provide access to essential cleft lip and palate surgery as well as for more complex facial disfigurements. When a child receives a cleft surgery, it will significantly improve their life prospects, they will be able to eat, speak, smile and go to school.
