Who
I supported several worthy charities last year, but have chosen to support just one this year, the Sue Ryder Hospice in Leckhampton. This is Gloucestershires only inpatient unit for specialist palliative care. When a patient requires end-of life care, the hospice will provide emotional, practical and spiritual support to both patient and family helping to alleviate the pain, stress, and uncertainty of the situation.
What
I will be running 12 events throughout the year and will be asking for your support to raise much needed funds. I hope you will support me throughout the year.
Why
My mother (d 2019) and father (d 2020) were both fortunate to be cared for at home by the a wonderful carer and the comfort that gave our family was immeasurable. Sue Ryder can do this too - with your support.
