London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2021 · 19 September 2021 ·
So lockdown started at the end of March. After a week or two of hardly doing anything I decided to use my lockdown time to try and lose weight and get fitter, I went and bought my self a road cycle bike and went on a diet. I decided that six days a week I would cycle ten miles, do some push ups, sit ups and crunches at home while eating as healthy as I could. I knew it was not going to be easy to commit to it but I've been determined, as I weighed myself and I was 104 kilos and not happy about it. Three months later I started to cycle fifteen miles a day (24 km) 6 days a week and still doing my home exercises and eating healthy, my goal was go lose 24 kilos and reach a weight of 80 kilos currently I weigh 89 kilos so still a fair bit to do. Now I am challanging myself to cycle in the 55 mile London to Brighton charity ride please sponser me as I ride for Carers Trust. Every donation goes to helping those that spend their lives helping others.
