Ben Neveresting! This June, I will be running up and down Ben Nevis 7 times in 24 hours, accumulating the elevation gain of Mt. Everest.

Why? To raise awareness of our human potential and it’s relevance with respect to our most pressing global threat, climate change.

Pushing the limits of human potential may not sound like it has much to do with climate change but hear me out.

If we don’t take radical action, our species will be wiped out. Fact. We are facing the sixth mass extinction event on planet Earth. We are such powerful beings but unfortunately most of us only use a tiny portion of our vast potential. What a waste it would be to throw it all away due to ignorance. Let’s all do something to make a change. Whether it’s our cognitive, physical, social or one of the other amazing skills we can hone, let’s put it to use.

I will be supporting Friends of the Earth on this challenge. We want a world where everyone can enjoy a healthy environment and a fair share of the Earth’s resources. This is what @foescot are fighting for. If you can afford to spare anything at all, it will make all the difference in the bigger picture of all things to come.
