On the 9th and 10th of may, lisa and I together with friends will be cycling fom Workington to Newcastle in memory of  our friend and coleague Andrew Hickie.  Andrew was born in Workington and later settled in Newcastle to work as a Town Planner and an inspirational manager to me at Gateshead Council.

Sadly he passed away just under a year ago on the 10 May.  Lisa and I together with 13 other friends are hoping to raise as much money as possible to support cancer research in Andrews name.
