Covid-19 support appeal
Campaign by Wuth Charity (RCN 1050469)
This fund has been set up in conjunction with the Wirral Globe to support both Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge General Hospitals during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

I am raising funds to support my local hospitals, Arrowe Park and Clatterbrdige General during the current covid-19 pandemic.

I have been taking my daily exercise at 5am, and I wanted to complete a challenge to help support my local hospitals in this time of crisis - many of my friends and family are nhs workers and are battling this disease on the front line - I want to show my gratitude by doing something to help - my goal is to reach 200 km before the end of lockdown, and if I achieve this, then I will keep going and set further goals and see how far I can reach by the time restrictions are lifted.

I am also using this challenge to show recognition to all keyworkers who are working hard to keep the country going in these difficult times and providing essential services

I havent been running for nearly 10 years, and so achieving this distance will be a big challenge - in my early 30s I ran all the time and was quite fit, but now at 40 with a lot of added weight and a few nasty injuries later, this is not going to be easy, but failure is not an option!!

I would welcome any support people can offer either by donating or sharing this page.
