Mountain rescue team members are on call every day, of every month, of every year. Whatever the time, day or night. Whatever the weather. They do it voluntarily. They do it without question. At no cost to the casualty. And it's thanks to your generosity, they can continue saving lives. So thank you.

Story

In January earlier this year I had a nasty swim kayaking on the Dart in Devon during a flood, and it got to the stage where if my friend hadn't managed to pull me from a tree I was clinging to, then MR would probably be pulling a body from the river a few hours later. Lets hope no one ever needs the big yellow bird in the sky, but lets make sure its got the funding to be there just in case anyone ever does need it. The men and women of MR do a great job and its all voluntary, lets keep it going for the one time we might really need them.
