Story

I’ve agreed to do something a little different this weekend… I’m going to be sleeping rough on the streets of Exeter with my friend Brendan Spokes to raise money for young people my age homeless. We’re planning to spend 12 hours from 7 pm to 7 am with just sleeping bags and not much else to raise funds for young homeless people in Exeter.

Last year one young person was made homeless every hour in England and hundreds of young people spent at least one night on the streets. These are shocking statistics and I’m sure you know there are many unfortunate reasons why this happens.

I am very lucky that I have been given opportunities to prove myself and to show what I can achieve, even though my life at GK Signs can be very hard work. But I’m about to find out first hand what it’s like just for one night. I’m sure those 12 hours will be quite enough but it will give me a better understanding of how important those essentials are and truly how lucky I am.

I’ve set a modest target of £500 and would be awesome to achieve this. If you feel you could donate, my just giving page is here

I’ll be letting you know how I get on. Thanks very much for reading this. Please wish me luck.. it looks like it will be minus 1.

Best
