Thanks for supporting my fundraising. My brother Steven had the idea to do the Mighty Hike across the Lake District and I have signed up to support him on June 19. We previously did the Great North Run together for children's charities.

We are doing this event in memory of our dad John, who died in January 2020 at the age of 76 after a long battle with leukaemia.

I have walked 26 miles once before and ran a half-marathon once, both in the name of charity. I have hiked several small mountains in the last couple of years, including Ben Wyvis, my one and only munro to date.
