As many will know, my wife and I recently welcomed our first child in to the world. Reggie was born with Trisomy 21 or as it's more commonly known, down syndrome. As we left the hospital we were given information and guidance from Down Syndrome Association. This came in very useful in understanding what we were dealing with and what support we should seek going forward.

Bringing Reggie in to the world in 2019 he stands much more chance at an independant life as he grows up thanks to the efforts of the charity in setting the platform for development with children and adults born with down syndrome. The road ahead may be bumpy but will all be made easier thanks to the hard work of the Down Syndrome Association over the last five decades.

Richard and I have cycled the 100 miles which should have been Ride London 100 and now I have decided to continue on with fundraising and run the virtual london marathon on only 5 weeks training. Seeing the donations come in are really motivating me to keep pushing on. It's going to be a tough ask bit I am determined. Here goes...
