We joined an exclusive club that nobody wants to join.. we became bereaved parents to our son Leo  (the lion) Spencer Spavin. He had neuroblastoma, a childrens cancer. From finding a lump on the side of his tummy, within just 2 weeks we said an excruciating tearful goodbye. Leo was 2 years and 7 months old and taught me so much that I will be thankful for the rest of my life.

Candlighters were there at the start of Leo's short cancer journey and they are still there for us now. Without them things could have been so much more difficult, if losing a child isn't hard enough already.  The work and support that Candlighters give is invaluable to children and families weather it be during treatment, post treatment or to bereaved families in the event of loss.
