In light of recent events I’d like to dedicate my Participation in the Great North Run to my friend Andy Dixon who sadly passed away recently. 

He had regularly commented on my posts on social media about how well I’d been doing and actually told me I was his hero with how well I had done. Andy was a big supporter of mine and I loved him for that. 

I will be running the Great North Run with a Middlesbrough Football Top on with his name on the back as a tribute and as a Man Utd fan at heart it’s a big thing for me. I hope to make him proud and to also make people aware that as his Mam said today at his service. Don’t leave things until tomorrow and tomorrow may never come.
