My lovely wife Emma was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in March. One of 55,000 women in the UK who will be diagnosed this year, scarily one women diagnosed every 10 minutes! 

Since March it has been a whirlwind and the journey of treatments is very long, confusing and of course hugely impactful - but the support, dedication of the team at The Christie has been amazing. 

To see at 1st hand the size of The Christie today and major research expansion with 300 new world class scientists coming online - with more research and development to continue to battle cancer and improve everyone's chances is fantastic to see.
