Story
Earlier this year my wife, Laura and I received the devastating news that we had lost our daughter Penelope to miscarriage 5 months in to pregnancy. Obviously this was the most tragic of news and truly the most difficult and saddest times we have had to face.
Penelope was born sleeping on 7th February in the Louis Suite at Sunderland Hospital, with the support of the amazing team of
midwives and this is where we became familiar with the 4Louis charity. The 4Louis charity provide keepsake memory boxes to families suffering still births to help them capture memories and treasure the little time available with their children. This was a great comfort to Laura and I in the saddest of times and although I wish these memory boxes are never needed, sadly they are.
I hope you will join me in supporting a cause very close to my heart and offering a little support to families in their time of greatest need. We always dreamt that our girl would change the world so I will be running the Great North Run in 2018 in her memory.
Even the smallest of feet have the power to leave everlasting footprints.
