If you know me you’ll know I love watching Ice Hockey and also that I love a challenge!!!

Well this year I have decided to try to combine the two and play in the UK charity allstars Ice hockey competition. I will be playing for Ty Hafan Ice hockey (naturally).

So I can barely skate and have never played Ice hockey lol. So I not only have to learn to skate but also play.

So why are we doing this?

I am trying to raise money and awareness for Ty Hafan children's hospice In memory of a beautiful little princess Scarlett Thomas.
“9 years ago my daughter Scarlett was born struggling to breathe and was rushed to intensive care. After a few weeks Scarlett was diagnosed with a rare life limiting chromosome disorder. This resulted in Scarlett having visual and hearing impairment, epilepsy, poor swallow, central hypertonia, hole in her heart, scoliosis of the spine, kidney problems and muscle atrophy of her brain. As you can imagine our whole world came crashing down around us. At this point Ty Hafan childrens hospice came into our lives giving us the help and support we needed on our amazing journey as a family. 

Sadly Scarlett passed away suddenly on 24th of September 2018 aged 4. Ty Hafan are still there supporting us.”
