Tough Mudder 2013 - Scotland · 24 August 2013 to 25 August 2013 ·

As the UK’s oldest and widest ranging national snowsports charity, we give young people with sporting ambitions, special educational needs, disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds their chance. The power of snowsports to enhance and change lives cannot be underestimated.

Story

Craig was tragically killed in November 2011 by a drunk driver whilst he was cycling in Oregon. He was one our best friends and is sorely missed. There is nothing more fitting than putting ourselves through the physical and mental challenge of Tough Mudder 2013 to remember him and raise awareness of the foundation that bears his name. Craig would have approved!

The Craig Macfie Foundation serves as a means to honor, celebrate and remember Craig’s life while promoting causes close to his and his friends’ and family’s hearts. The foundation has a fund within the Skiers Trust of Great Britain which is controlled by the foundation’s trustees. All donations will go directly into this fund.

The Foundation’s Aims:

In keeping with Craig’s passion for skiing the primary focus of the foundation will be to promote and encourage the sport on both a local and national level.

Furthermore, the foundation will aim to raise awareness of the dangers of drink driving and raise motorists' awareness of the rights of cyclists on the road.

So please dig deep and sponsor this great cause. Not only are we remembering Craig but looking forward and raising awareness of some important issues.
