Well, I have done it!  Absolutely the toughest but most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life! 

Thanks to everyone who sponsored me, I really am overwhelmed by all the support I have received.  I look forward to thanking you all individually and telling all the war stories!

I have completed the Marathon Des Sables, 'The Toughest Footrace On Earth'. 

Here are the facts:

- 150 mile endurance race over 7 days in the Sahara desert

- Competitors carry their own kit (14 kg of food, medical kit, sleeping bag etc.)

- Temperatures can reach 50 degrees Celcius

- Water is rationed and handed out at each checkpoint.

The part which scares me the most is the double marathon stage (50+ Miles) which will mean running through the night!

Please sponsor me to raise money for the Thames Reach charity which helps the homeless and vulnerable in London.  Given the amount of work I am putting into this project I have given myself the target of raising £10,000!  This will make a real difference to Thames so please dig deep and help me get there.
