Motivation for doing a challenge can sometimes be found in the saddest of circumstances. For myself and many of the cycle4cancercare team this is the case. My wife and all her family were all extremely close to her aunt, Lynne Lloyd, who passed away at St Anne's Hospice in the Autumn of 2011 from a brain tumour. The support that St Anne's provided to the family over the last few weeks of Lynne's life was incredible and this challenge hopefully provides an opportunity to raise some money for St Anne's who provide an invaluable service in the most difficult times for any family.

I am setting out to do this to raise money for St Anne’s but also in memory of Lynne, for myself and more importantly my wife and her family, who miss Lynne every day.
