Thanks for dropping by.

As many of you will already know, not content with running the London Marathon in 2008, I'm going back for more on 25th April to endure, sorry enjoy it all over again. I've got two objectives this year:

1. Do it in under 4 hours

2. Raise money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital (here's where I hope you can help)

Why Alder Hey? My daughter Megan was in intensive care there when she was a baby and needed an operation. It's an amazing hospital with wonderful staff, that badly needs money to help save more children's lives and I can't think of a better reason to give a little of your hard earned money than that. Please help and think of me pounding the wintry Cheshire lanes training and then doing the full 26.2 miles on 25th April. Thanks for anything you can donate, Chris x.

P.S. If you don't trust this new fangled internet thingy and would rather just give me the cash, please let me know.

Here's the small print:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
