Event: The Grand Brighton Half Marathon 2020, on 23 February 2020
Taking place along Brightons beautiful seafront, this scenic half marathon has become one of the most popular races in the UKs running calendar.

Story

The charity I will be supporting for the Grand Brighton Half Marathon 2020 is the Alzheimer’s Society.

I know several people (both friend's relatives and my own personal family members) who are living with dementia everyday and cannot imagine the frustration and suffering it must cause - not only for the individual but for their family members and friends.

It is vitally important we support the hard-work this organisation does to provide support to people living with dementia, their family members and friends, and those who do the incredible job of caring for those with dementia. It is also vital that we continue to support the ongoing research into this disease so we can hopefully, one day, find a cure.

These guys are transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, this organisation will assist in creating a society where those affected by dementia are not only supported and accepted, but able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Please give generously and support the cause! ANY donations, no matter how big or small will go along way to support the cause.

Thanks for reading and wish me luck!
