Story

I'm running 50km in a week!

The IG  team - including myself - are taking part in Race the Thames Virtual 2022, during the week of 24th-31st January.

Our challenge is for our team to run, row or cycle a total of 346 km in a week!

The money we raise will be split between MNDA and our company charity of London Youth Rowing (LYR).

About LYR
Race The Thames is the annual fundraising event run by London Youth Rowing (LYR). The money raised will be used to help support LYR's work in London and Leeds. LYR's programmes allow young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in rowing, giving them the benefit of participating in the sport and allowing them to fulfil their potential. The gallery below shows the impact LYR's work has for young people.

About MNDA
MNDA is a very personal charity for me, as my Dad was diagnosed with MND (motor neurone disease) in 2019.

MND is a disease where messages from the motor neurones gradually stop reaching the muscles, making them weak, stiff and eventually waste away. The majority of people with MND pass away within 2-5 years of diagnosis.

Currently there is no cure for MND, and the MNDA are devoted not just to finding a cure, but also providing support & care to sufferers and their families - just like ours.

So I'd massively appreciate any and all donations made to our cause. Thank you very much!
