Story
Never one to turn down the chance of something new, when a friend of mine suggested signing up for the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Night Ride I immediately said no. After a few weeks of consideration I thought why the hell not. Lets raise some money and do something I will really struggle with as I have never cycled that far and am really unfit. I will probably be last, just behind the guy in the monster's inc. fancy dress costume.
I am raising money for Cancer Research, which is pretty close to finally beating this disease. In my mind, this journey may well raise the last few quid the boffins at the lab need to buy one more pen to write down the formula to solve it. So, lets chuck a few quid their way and beat this mother. What else are you gonna do with it? Spend it on drugs? Or guns and drugs. Or guns drugs and MC Hammer records. It's not worth it!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you again. And if I don't make it back, please remember me by taking all the money i have raised and building a 50 ft gold statue ok? Or not. Either way.
Cheers :)
