Story
Reaching the big " four-zero" was decision time - a fancy sports car or fancy sports kit? The kit won, so I am still driving Janey's old Audi to the station. However, armed with a beautiful road bike, sleek wetsuit and figure-hugging lycra (at least the bike looks good!), I became a semi-serious triathlete in 2005. Royal Windsor in 36-degree heat was the highlight, especially beating people who had sneaked past me at Eton earlier in the season. However, I was brought down to earth by a tennis coach who told me, "Forget triathlons, the only real challenge is THE MARATHON."
So after this, 2006 had to be London Marathon year! In taking up this challenge, I am delighted to support the Surrey Care Trust. The team are dedicated to making my home county a more caring place. They provide life-changing opportunities for young people who have become socially excluded. Your donations will help provide me with inspiration in the dark-miles around the London docklands on April 23rd, but more importantly, make a real difference to young peoples' lives. Thank you for your help!

(P.S. Great training for the 2006 triathlons!)
