Story
Hi! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Myself and a few of my friends are cycling the Etape Loch Ness (~100km) race in April, and we are fundraising for Macmillan Cancer as part of this event. Any money raised will greatly benefit cancer sufferers as well as their families, during a terribly difficult time. Donations go directly to Macmillan via JustGiving.
To really challenge ourselves (as well as helping us to train for the event), we've decided to set ourselves the arduous task of cycling the equivalent of half the elevation of Mount Everest, each. Therefore, I will be training for the next 10 weeks and aim to climb 4,424m in a given day by repeating the Crow Road hill segment in the region of Lennoxtown. That amounts to around 16 repititions of the well-known climb (just over 100 miles).
This will be the biggest single physical challenge any of us have undertaken - support us directly here - any donation is appreciated!
Thanks :)
