Story
I will run the New York Marathon on Nov 6th to raise money for the Christina Noble Children's Foundation. It is a much less exotic locale than my last fundraising effort in the Taklamakan Desert, but nonetheless exciting and something I have looked forward to being part of for a long time.
The Christina Noble Children's Foundation (http://www.cncf.org/) provides care and services for homeless, orphaned and underprivileged children in Vietnam and Mongolia. It's a great charity that does a ton of direct good at the grass roots level. I sit on the CNCF board and am presently forming the US branch of the Foundation. Beth and I have been sponsoring three girls in Mongolia through the charity for several years and we have seen the direct benefit of our sponsorship on the girls and their families.

There are several ways to donate:
1. Donate on this UK-based site, but take note that it is denominated in British Pounds (approx 1.6 USD per GBP).
2. Donate to the Hong Kong branch of CNCF. Please contact me and I can provide forms. Cash, checks and credit cards are all accepted.
3. Donate in the US once we have the charity registered with the IRS. This should be the preferred method for US citizens. Please commit to me now and I will track you down once the US entity is set up later this quarter.
